There you see it, a school desk herb garden. I hope we influenced someone to get off the couch and do something constructive. Good luck!

We moved into our apartment on the university campus and love it!
Nice and sunny!
We also have our own little yard for barbecues and gardens. Theres also a few lemon trees in the backyard.
This is the courtyard outside our little yard. Perfect area for frisbee or skateboarding.
Thanks for reading xoxo Pat & Cori
We like to explore suburbs around Christchurch- Sumner was one of the first places we explored. After passing the homes that were hanging off cliffs and the piles of rock and dirty from landslides, we finally got to a cute beach town!
A few weekends ago we drove about 1.5 hours to Akaroa a cute town founded by french settlers. Beautiful!
We had a lunch of fish and chips, walked to the light house that matched my dress (thanks krista!) and tried to look for dolphins…no such luck on the latter venture however we have every intention of returning and possibly taking a boat tour to find them!

Hi Hi! Long time no POST. But all is well in kiwi-a-go-go land. Pat and I have lived in three places in the past few weeks and each time we lack internet- so posting has been on the back burner. I have lots of lovely pictures for all yalls. Hope you enjoy! I will try to explain everything if I can/ remember. 😉 So I left off when we were back in Auckland- seems like ages ago. We hit the road and spent the night in Napier and the weirdest AirBnB we stayed at yet. But I planned it so we were in Rotorua around lunch time so I go take a driving break and enjoy the Polynesian Spa! (Yay for forward planning). Patrick too a little while to adjust to driving on the otherside of the road- but before long he was a natural! This was the best road trip ever! A nice relaxing break between driving 😉 Then a picnic lunch in front of this beautiful building, some consider it to be the most photographed building in New Zealand the original bath house, but now a part of the Rotorua Museum. Here are some more pics on the road. We stayed in Napier then drove to Wellington for a night before our INTER ISLANDER TRIP ! After a quick breakfast we got in line to drive onto the ferry to the South Island. It was beautiful on the way, hardly any waves. We arrived in Picton and grabbed a hamburger. But I was still hungry and we passed by famous Nin’s Bins! So I made Pat buy me a lobster. YUMMY YUM! We got to Christchurch and tried to get settled. We stayed with an AMAZING Wellesley Alum and within three days Pat found a great welding job! This is him heading off to work with a bucket full of tools and a HUGE PINK lunch box! We will post more- but it takes forever to upload this pictures. Pat ran away while I was typing this to go get a library card- so I will go get one too! We have great pics of our new place, Akaroa, and Sumner that we will post later- STAY TUNED KIDS ! XOXO Pat and Cori
In LA we tried to enjoy the outdoors before getting in a plane for 13 hours. We headed to Cabrillo Beach which was close to where we were staying in Palos Verdes.
The next day we headed to LAX for our 9:45pm flight to NEW ZEALAND! – of course we stopped at In-and-out Burger for a last minute treat 😉

Auckland here we come!
The first day we forgot our camera! Sad…but it was a beautiful day. The following day we used our new cellphone in order to buy a car! The dealership we wanted to go to was far away so we rented a scooter (I didn’t drive) and off we went!
This is our new little baby! A 1992 Honda Civic that shall henceforth be called “The Patty Wagon!” Because Pat picked it out.
We parked the car and went for a ride around Auckland!
We got some seafood for dinner and will enjoy the sunset over Auckland.

7:30am: WAKE UP
8:00am: Waffles and Mediterranean Scramble at the Streaming Bean (Pat calls it the Screaming Bean).
8:30am: Pismo Beach
9:00am: Drive to Santa Barbara! (we also passed Santa Claus Way). Activities included attending the Farmers Market, visiting the court house, and the Santa Barbara Mission.
12:00pm: Lunch on the road.
1:00pm-4:00pm: We got a lovely taste of big city traffic going through Malibu, Santa Monica and through LA. We couldn’t even go to the beach because of the wind. Look I am almost blowing away!
